A beautifully proportioned and practical fireside piece, our Rattan Tapered Log Basket combines generous log storage with the warmth and character of natural rattan.
The distinctive tapered shape, wider at the top and narrowing towards the base, creates an elegant silhouette while providing plenty of room for storing firewood, logs and kindling. Softly rounded corners and a tightly woven finish give the basket a refined look that sits beautifully beside both traditional and contemporary fireplaces.
Discreet integrated rattan handles are woven into each side, making the basket easier to lift and carry while maintaining its clean, simple lines.
Strong, sturdy and generously sized, this rattan log basket is designed to be both useful and decorative.
Available in Natural Rattan and Classic Dark Brown, it brings natural texture and warmth to a fireplace, hearth or living room throughout the year.

Material Information:
Rattan is a solid, bendable tropical rain forest climbing palm, featuring a sheath with spines that needs trees to wrap on to and soak in sunlight, and could reach 100 meters in length. It’s solid all through the length of the tendrils and flexible enough that it makes a perfect vine tree to use for basket weaving and furniture making. It also has a long standing reputation of durability, being lightweight and sturdy, rattan stands out as one of the strongest non-wood materials in the world.
